General information about Todo Fantástico
Location / address
GPS coordinates of the apartment are: 37°14'45.9"N 1°46'31.5"W or 37.246080, -1.775410. The (Google) Plus Code is: '66WF+CR Villaricos'. The address is: Cristal Faro, piso 1, Calle los Fenicios, 04616 Villaricos.
Arrival and departure
Arrival time is any time after 3 pm. If possible, please give us a call with your estimated time of arrival a few hours beforehand so that we can personally welcome you.
On the agreed departure date, please be prepared to vacant the apartment any time before 11 am. This will allow us sufficient time to properly clean and restock before the next guests arrive.
Should there be no subsequent reservation, departure time is negotiable in case a later time suits you better, e.g. to align with the departure time of your flight. Just give us a call.
Whatever the case, we’ll be there for the handover of the keys, unless agreed otherwise.
Access
Upon arrival, you’ll be handed two keys to the front door of the apartment and the gate of the terrace. There's no alarm installation to worry about. Flip side: please make sure to lock up when you leave the apartment and preferably also lower the blinds at the front.
Cleaning
We’ll take care of the cleaning after you’ve left. This is your vacation and you should not have to spend time on household chores. Having said that, it would be greatly appreciated if you would treat the apartment as if it were your home – which in fact it is for a limited amount of time.
Essential cleaning materials can be found in the closet in the patio and the base cabinets of the kitchen in case you just can’t withstand the urge.
We follow AirBnB's 'enhanced cleaning protocol and always ensure the apartment is spotless clean and sanitized prior to your arrival.
User manuals
The operation of most of the appliances is pretty intuitive but just in case you wish to e.g. fully exploit your talents for gastronomy, you’ll find the user manuals in the bottom drawer of the kitchen base cabinet.
Please find the manuals for TV, washing machine, dish washer and the stereo.
Fire extinguishers and escape route
Safety first! Best is, of course, to avoid the need to use an escape route in the first place. Please do not be negligent, stay out of harm’s way and don't spoil your vacation.
- One fire extinguisher is mounted to the wall of the patio, another in the built-in closet in the bedroom at the back.
- The apartment can only be exited through the front door and through the sliding doors which open to the left as well as the right.
- The exit-sign points to, surprise!, the exit.
Internet
The wireless internet connection works with reception throughout the apartment and the terrace. Thanks to the fiber optic wiring, the speed and throughput is more than sufficient for Netflix, browsing the internet and streaming music in parallel.
The identification (SSID) of the modem / router is: TodoFantastico and TodoFantastico-5G. The WIFI-password is also TodoFantastico (case sensitive, no space in between the words).
Should the modem / router 'hang', just unplug it and plug it in again for a fresh start. It is located behind the yellow door of the stereo sideboard.
First aid
There’s a basic first aid kit in the bathroom cupboard, also containing some pain killers.
Please leave the kit outside the cupboard at your departure to indicate that you’ve had to use some of the contents. Thank you.
Television
There is one, of the smart type even. Only Spanish channels though. But there’s Netflix! Just log in using the profile 'Todo Fantástico' as presented to you after starting the app.
Sound is played over the stereo set, so please switch that on as well and select 'digital' as the input source.
Air conditioning
The air conditioning is a ducted system providing hot and cold air to all of the rooms. Regrettably, there is no option to vary the temperature setting for the individual rooms.
The control is mounted next to the bathroom door.
Though many settings are available, it's best to simply set the desired temperature and allow the applicance to work in 'automatic' mode.
For the purpose of efficiency, would you please keep windows and doors closed while operating the air conditioning?
Stereo
The stereo set has a CD-player and a (net-)radio on board, but you may also hook up a smartphone or tablet using Bluetooth or USB. USB-sticks (thumb drives) work as well. The remote is to be found on the stereo sideboard, too.
The neighbours say thank you for not cranking the volume up all the way.
Bed linen and towels
A fresh set of bed linen can be found in the storage spaces under the two double beds.
There are plenty of towels available, also the larger type for use on the beach. You’ll find them in the built-in closets and in the bathroom.
Linen for the kitchen is available in one of the drawers of the kitchen cabinets.
Garbage disposal
Garbage is being recycled and therefore disposed of in separate containers as mentioned on the right.
The containers can be found anywhere along the streets, either single or in any random combination of colours – but for some reason only rarely all four types can to be found together.

Inventory
We’ve made an effort to fit the apartment out with everything one might possibly need for a short stay. The inventory contains an exhaustive, room by room list. Let us know what is missing please so that we may enhance the experience for the next guests.
Damages
Broken a plate or a glass? Shards bring good luck – at least in The Netherlands they are said to and we don’t see why in Spain it would be any different.
Not to worry, we’ll replace it. However, compensation would be much appreciated. Please leave behind what you think the broken part is worth to cover our expenses.
In case of more serious damage, please get in touch and we’ll come to some sort of a reasonable settlement.
Smoking
Please enjoy your cigarette outside on the terrace, not indoors. Thank you so much.
Note that cigarettes, tobacco in general, can only be bought in specialised shops, the so called Estancos. (Villaricos has one, near the town square.)
Pets
Feel free to bring your four-legged friend along so that you don't have to part for even a moment. The number of pets is restricted to one.
Please be aware that dogs are not allowed on beaches (though we've seen this rule being breached frequently) and not in shops, bars and restaurants. On the terrace of these establishments your dog is allowed to keep you company though.
