Meet your hosts
Ingrid
Before emigrating to The Netherlands, Ingrid spent the first 33 years of her life in Venezuela. Her full name is Ingrid Coromoto Campos Lopez. Her mother named her after the actress Ingrid Bergmann whom she admired. ‘Coromoto’ is a typical Indian name from the many tribes in (foremost the south of) Venezuela. And, of course, the last names Campos Lopez are those of her father and mother respectively.
Ingrid is a fun loving, creative, kind and friendly, welcoming person who enjoys being amongst people having a good time. And no, even though she’s a big fan, she does not sing or dance Flamenco. Fluent in Spanish, needless to say.
Menno
Menno (Theodoor) Bosman was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For various reasons, he has moved house some 24 times. His siblings are pretty much scattered across the globe: a brother living in China, another in the USA, a sister in Germany and even a few in The Netherlands itself, would you believe.
Menno is as blunt as they come, even by Dutch standards. He’s a down-to-earth person with a willfully positive outlook on life in general and the slightly sarcastic type of humour one may have to get used to.

Ingrid & Menno
After deciding to team up for life back in 2006, they worked and lived in The Netherlands (duh), Mumbai, India, and Manila, Philippines, each stint spanning several years.
They’re used to digging up their roots and settling in in vastly different environments in terms of the social setting, the language, the customs, the food and the climate. They've learned that even though the world may be big and hugely diverse, people are essentially the same below the thin layer we call culture. One can feel at home basically anywhere on the globe - which is an enriching realisation.
After 42 years, they felt working had become too much of a habit and together decided to make some adjustments. In December 2019 they moved to Spain and since then call ‘Todo Chévere’ their home. It is located in a small hamlet by the name of Aljambra Alta up in the hills near Albox. They enjoy the open-ended vacation immensely.
